As some of you may know, Bay Area rave music pioneer Scott Hardkiss passed away on Monday. So tonight I will be playing a full hour of his music and remixes. He was a DJ and producer starting in 1993 (also known as "God Within") who went on to co-found Hardkiss records with Robbie and Gavin Hardkiss. The three were notorious for everything from house to acid techno to trance and breaks, but each had a sound distinctly his own. Scott Hardkiss released a mix in 1996 called Yes, and it is one of my favorite mixes of all time. I was going to play it on the air tonight but it turns out there is some profanity sprinkled around.
